Working together, we can restore all lakes and ensure delta farmers never face water shortages again. While I am not from the delta, my priority is always water conservation. It’s vital to focus on trusted organizations for CSR funding and to document all activities.

Why stop at one JCB machine? We can involve more supporters to bring in 100 JCBs for large-scale renovation. Over the next 5-6 years, we aim to renovate 1,000 lakes, and I will ensure you have all the support needed to achieve this goal.

I am thrilled to hear about the renovation of Peravurani Periyakulam by KAIFA with the support of villagers and youth. The Chola kings were masters of water management, building thousands of ponds with robust structures. It is inspiring to see KAIFA continue this legacy with plans for over 100 lake restorations.

We cannot always rely on the government for environmental efforts. Everyone must contribute. It’s our responsibility to take care of water resources. In KAIFA’s 100th event, I hope to witness 1,000 lakes renovated, and I will support them through any challenges.

The restoration of the Vaigai River must prioritize community engagement. With their support, we can restore the river from upper to lower Vaigai, a total of 285 km. Within Madurai, no sewage or waste water should enter the river—these must be treated and free of contaminants. This is our priority.

We should focus on restoring the river, kilometer by kilometer, establishing boundaries and rainwater harvesting zones. Let’s create a model for the government and public to see how this process works. My role will be to help secure government NOC, CSR support, and connect schemes for the restoration.
